A week ago I went to Christopher Street Day in Munich. During the main Pride weekend, the festivities commence on Saturday at noon with the Munich Gay Pride Parade, which begins at Marienplatz and moves in a counter-clockwise direction around the city center, passing by Karlsplatz, Sendlinger Tor, Gartnerplatz, and Viktualienmarkt, to end near Jakobsplatz at Rindermarkt. August: Politischer Auftakt 11-12 Uhr, Marienplatz 11. Have you been to a Pride? The beautifully illuminated historical city hall offers several dance floors inside, where revellers can actually waltz, as well as dance to pop and house music of the highest quality. Another focal point is Rindermarkt, a square 5min walk south of Marienplatz. It showed me how much fun we all can have. Bring your drinking heads, it's a massive bender for the next few weeks! I think it was very interesting and a great experience and I definitely plan on going there again. August: Politparade Start: 12 Uhr, Marienplatz 11. Actually all of them were really lovely.
